Since the playbacked sound was too weak, I had believed that it didn't play anything. Now I know that it's playedback as expected. But I'm still experiencing an unacceptable level of noise in the sound. The .au file I used shouldn't have any format problem since it's playbacked normally on another machine with SoundBlaster16 installed. I appreciate if anyone who has a working CS4236 or CS4237 card gives me the result of pnpinfo command. I would like to compare it with mine.
