Sure you can.

Because there are more opportunities here.  People in Western Europe
(and even now in Eastern Europe) are in a completely differen niche than
say people in India.  There are too many people there, and there are few
opportunities.  A couple good friends are from India, and they moved to
American because of the education/opportunities here, and never plan on
leaving.
