Maybe someone else knows more about this stuff. The setup will depend on whether your ISP uses PPPoE or PPTP. Mine is PPPoE & was a relatively painless exercise after reading stuff like the online handbook, man ppp, plus a heap of assorted HOWTOs from freebsddiary.org, bsdvault.net, etc etc > I'm not a total newbie, I use freebsd to perform on a cable modem box last year.
