So far so good... ...but then each time I run idacontrol I get this in /var/log/messages: Nov 21 17:01:30 mail kernel: ida0: soft error Nov 21 17:01:36 mail last message repeated 59 times Does this mean the controller is OK and the disks are dying? Or is it expected behavior with idacontrol? Or something else? thanks dn -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (Darwin) iD8DBQFHRNeLyPxGVjntI4IRAkigAJ41KeUVpDfNab6f/F/eHcSCrJLMrwCdHLos eYOqGGn8K3RV1l/okGwuYp4= =U4Tx -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
