Well, we're sorry you're dissatisfied, but I suspect you're misunderstanding a few basic facts: 1. The lists are run by volunteers. Nobody's obliged to answer any question. As I say at http://echunga.lemis.com/references.html, it's up to you to formulate mail messages that people will want to answer. I personally peruse every message that goes through FreeBSD-questions. I answer the ones that: a. Are well prepared. b. Are easy to read. c. I know how to answer. I can't recall seeing any message from you, which means that maybe they didn't conform to (a) or (b). But there's another possibility: 2. There's only one mailing list which you should use for asking questions of the nature you're describing, and that's FreeBSD-questions. Given that you sent this message to -advocacy, where it is only marginally relevant, I suspect that you might have sent your questions to -newbies or -advocacy, both of which don't have this kind of question on their charter. If you send this kind of question to them, the correct response is to ignore them, though from time to time people will reply and point you to -questions. 3. Ultimately, any problem you have is your own personal property. Don't blame other people for it.
