I am getting this from a de Ethernet card.

Setup:

Nomis with Adaptec 4 ports card.
                                 >--- Connected via Category 5 cable
Copper with Intel Pro/100B card.

Cabling is known good. Fxp card known good Adaptec card, under eval.

Nomis ifconfig:

de0: flags=8c43<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,OACTIVE,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        inet 192.168.10.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.10.255
        ether 00:00:92:a7:62:c1
        media: autoselect (100baseTX <full-duplex>) status: active
        supported media: autoselect 100baseTX <full-duplex> 100baseTX
10baseT/UT

Pinging 192.168.10.10 (copper) does not cause any LED to blink.
Pinging 192.168.10.1 (nomis) blinks the LEDs.
The connection on the fxp0, on copper is known good (will talk to other
fxp, etc.)

Pinging from nomis (on the de0), brings no results, only ``host is down''.
After 10-15 minutes the subject line appears.

Oh, /etc/rc.conf on nomis (home of the de0):
network_interfaces="fpa0 fxp0 de0 de1 de2 de3 lo0"
ifconfig_de0="inet 192.168.10.1  netmask 255.255.255.0"

Netstat -rn:

Help will be appreciated!

There would be an "Engine Pro" with bigger turbos, but it would be slower
