time to eat humble-pie.   i just talked with dan jones of usregsite.com.
this was a simple mistake by a user of a web page subscription form.
dan jones caught it and fixed the problem quickly before any real
damage was done.  <yeah, dan!>

needless to say i have removed the mail block on their domain.

guess that i am getting a little over-zealous in looking for spam.
