setting mountpoint=3Dnone on the target dataset fixed the issue.=20
Apparently mounting a dataset, even as read-only, somewhat "alters" it=20
and incremental snapshot replication fails afterwards.

So I'm setting mountpoint=3Dnone and switched to clones and promotes
