Hi! I have a SCSI CD-writer and an ATAPI CDROM. I want to rip an audio CD using cdrdao but I cannot use device names like /dev/cdrom since cdrdao expects devices in the form bus,id,lun (like 0,6,0). In linux there is an ide-scsi emulation layer that allows for this. What's the behaviour for FreeBSD? Is it possible to access ATAPI devices from cdrdao/cdrecord? I haven't found anything in the handbook and searching the freebsd mailing archives is a pain ... I'd appreciate any pointer or link to useful resources.
