Karl, as you probably know, anything funny going on in rtld is real serious news, because it affects the whole shooting match. I immediately double-checked what you said, and I can't duplicate it. rtld is part of the gnu software (although it's been FreeBSDized somewhat) and shouldn't have been smeared inthe 4.4 BSDLite changes. Can you duck into your /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/ld, do a make clean/make cleandepend/make depend/make and (if you still show that error), send it to me (the whole make listing) ?
