Yep it works! Thanks. I now have my primary wifi on 2.4ghz and 5ghz and 
one "guest wifi"
using /usr/sbin/hostapd -P /var/run/hostapd.pid -B /etc/hostapd.conf 
/etc/hostapd2.conf /etc/hostapd3.conf

rc.conf:
wlans_ath0="wlan0"
wlans_ath1="wlan1 wlan2"
