I made the unpleasant discovery yesterday that portsclean does not respect a package's "held" status in pkgtools.conf, and will merrily blow away its work dir and everything else. I had some customizations I had done on one package I'm using, that I hadn't yet created patch files for. Unfortunately, they're gone now, after running "portsclean -C". Is this the intended behavior, or just an oversight/bug? -- Conrad Sabatier <conrads@cox.net> "Life, loathe it or ignore it, you can't like it." -- Marvin, "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
