On Mon Oct 9 21:35:32 EDT 2000 I was looking through the web site and I noticed a bit of breakage in the ports area. If you navigate down through the directory listings to http://www.freebsd.org/ports/misc.html and then click on "amanda" this URL is created: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/url.cgi?ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/branches/-current/ports/misc/amanda24/pkg/DESCR and you get: ------- snip ------------ Port description for misc/amanda24 The port specified does not exist, or has an invalid name: ports/misc/amanda24/pkg/DESCR Please contact www@freebsd.org ------- snip ------------ If you use the search facility with a URL like: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=amanda&stype=all and then click on "Description" which has a URL like: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/url.cgi?ports/misc/amanda24/pkg-descr you get: ------- snip ------------ The port specified does not exist, or has an invalid name: ports/misc/amanda24/pkg-descr Please contact www@freebsd.org ports@FreeBSD.org ------- snip ------------ Hmm it just occured to me to check and it seems everything is broken in the same way - I guess that means there's some updating and changes going on. If so cat > /dev/null ;-) Regards, G.
