Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Finally got it all to work. One of the main problems I was having is that my ISP has a direct unix shell account I was dialing into rather than their PPP account. That fixed the ip aliasing problem Still can't do an autologin. I tried the PAP, but I can't figure out how to set up my ppp.secret right. Just setting set login "" in the ppp.conf fails. I don't mind doing it mannually, but my wife will. Also, my PPP connection times out very quickly. I have my timeout set to 600 but it disconnects with like 2 min of inactivity.
