For example, BINARY_ALIAS trick won't work due to package conflict between multiple mono* versions. F= or another, DEFAULT_VERSIONS cannot be changed on the package cluster. Current= ly, the ports/ tree has very few lang/mono6.8 consumers, none of which have USES=3Dmono or depend on devel/msbuild. See bug 273001 for an example affected consumer.
