Nothing special, just fetch the directories as before and arrange them like they are on the ftp site. Make ~ftp/pub/FreeBSD/X.Y.Z-RELEASE/ and plunk the files in there. You don't have to grab everything, just the bits you want to install. Then in the installer, select `other URL' from the location menu and type in the URL to your archive, ie ftp://my.machine.com/pub/FreeBSD. sysinstall will do the rest.
