If the network/host field of an exports line was changed, the change did not get updated until mountd was restarted. I saw essentially what you did. I could reproduce it and then not reproduce it. If you change the IPv6 network to IPv4 and reload, I think you'll find that IPv6 mounts still work until restarting mountd unless you have the patch in the attachment applied.
