hello list, i ran into a lot of crashes because of problems with externally mounted devices through usb. after successful mount, an ejecting of the device, w/o unmounting it, ususally results in a freeze of the system, followed by reboot. also with defect hardware, or cable problems this occurs. is there a way to protect my running os from such behavior, any kind of flag i could set? best regards, marco
