It might help you out. Thanks, I have been through a number of sites, asterisk.org, iptel.org, voip-forum.com and the above - but I missed that page. On freshmeat I have found a project that looks interesting: minisip, see www.minisip.org. It appears to do just what I have been looking for - that is VoIP/SIP and not much else. But the interesting part is that they add some security enhancements, SIP over TLS, SRTP and MIKEY which are still work-in-progress IETF standards. However, it is for Linux, GPL, in alpha and not ported - anyone wants to help?
