I recently purchased a refurbished Philips CDD3610 drive and I am trying to use it under 3.1R. I can not figure out how to get cdrecord (1.6.1) to recognize the device. Is this going to work, would upgrading to 3.1-stable help? Is there a FAQ or tutorial somewhere?
