I succeded in compiling and executing the pnpinfo command which recognizes my SB16 PnP Sound Card, then I've patched my kernel using the appropriate version, (I'm running FreeBsd 2.2.1), but whenever I try to recompile the kernel after the make command I get this messages: ../../isa/pnp.c 'ADDRESS' undeclared first use of this function and so on I've checked and the pnp.h is present in my /usr/src/sys/isa directory, so I don't have a clue of what is going on. Thanks for your help EMANUELE -- e-mail: costa@unix.lancs.ac.uk http://www.leganordsen.it/
