I am thinking of enabling softupdates but have read in the questions/stable mail listing archives that enabling softupdates when the scsi hard drive has write cache enabled could cause trouble that would not normally be experienced. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that? Is disabling write cache not a good idea? If anyone could offer up some suggestions, that would be beneficial. Please CC me on replys since I'm not on -questions. Thanks - Holt __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
