So how can I go on from now? That may be a function of the desktop environment. With xfce4, Settings/Printing set to "BSD/LPR", Firefox prints fine. Worst case, you can enter lpr in the Command Line box of the Firefox printing dialog. Or /usr/bin/lpr if it's wrongly trying to run the CUPS lpr. -Warren Block * Rapid City, South Dakota USA
