I have a procmail filter that uses spamassissin to filter all my incomming mail (downloaded with fetchmail). I have noticed that if I get a lot of messages at once, interactive response degrades tremendously with a lot of perl processes stuck in either swread or pfault state. The system becomes completely unuseable. I keep telling myself I'll track it down one of these days, but... -- Mike Makonnen | GPG-KEY: http://www.identd.net/~mtm/mtm.asc mtm@identd.net | Fingerprint: D228 1A6F C64E 120A A1C9 A3AA DAE1 E2AF DBCC 68B9 --=.:/rgoS(MUAP16j Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE+MMhU2uHir9vMaLkRAnh5AKCe8jMfWt/w5OPquPLmXSXcr21etwCfb5u1 U974p3Klqo5lrnF+iP/+9Yo= =k9V9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=.:/rgoS(MUAP16j-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
