It seems I am suffering from the same affliction as other H8SSL-i HT1000 us=
ers with SATA drives.  I do not have problems with PATA drives on 7.0-RC2, =
nor have I seen this problem on 6.2-RELEASE with SATA.  My workaround is to=
 use PATA with this motherboard.
