What's wrong with the ft0 device already on the boot floppy's /dev?
The fixit fd's dev directory should actually be _pared down_ a fair
bit to reduce the redundant device entries which were left behind when
it switched roles.  Perhaps I'm simply misunderstanding something.

I suppose I could create these if they don't already exist..  Or I could
make them part of the MFS.
