What it is doing in "archives" is not quite clear. Anyway, maybe the port could have an update? The change is really straightforward -- just bump the driver version string and file size and checksums. I've been testdriving it for a while now, nothing unusual. JFYI, XvMC in mplayer more or less works with this driver in 7.0-STABLE, too -- if you forcefully compile it in. The quality is surprisingly good, even with bob-deinterlacing, though aspect ration gets distorted in fullscreen for some reason. > Ah, that sounds like the nvidia I've grown to (dis)trust. Over 200k in weight might hardly qualify as "small" :) But, from what I hear on the Net, they've been doing it for ages: seems like their drivers for Winblows contain text files with PCIIDs and card/chip names.
