(Yes it does work - thats why I 'adopted it') What do I need to do to get this old cdr (4x read 2x write) to work on freebsd 2.2.7? During boot '... (aha0:2:0) "YAMAHA CDR102 1.01" type 4 removeable SCSI 2' displays. But also "... uk0(aha0:2:0) Unknown" ... what is a uk0? I have "device worm0" in the kernel and compiled in, and have run "./MAKEDEV worm0" but I can not seem to get cdrecord to talk to this device (adaptec 1542cp) ID 2 cdrecord -scanbus returns "no target found" thanks dale -dp- ---------------- -dp- Dale Phillips dp@lore.org www.lore.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
