I was misunderstanding :-)

I wasn't expecting net/frr8 to support multipath without the
--enable-multipath configuration option.
But re-reading the FRR documentation, multipath is always enabled (and the
default maximum mpath is 16):

So I will fix the port Makefile.

Thanks for your question: The result will be an improved net/frr port :-)
