I don't know anything about how the www.xx.freebsd.org names are
handled, can someone take on this mirror?

Well, if you want to give it that, great!

The os.org.za domain is a domain some friends and I registered,
and under it is/are linux.os.org.za, winnt.os.org.za, etc.

We'd like to see it grow to being a repository of operating system
information in South Africa.

Well, it mirrors daily, so I'd hope so :) It's connected to quite a large
ZA ISP's backbone (it's my PC at work). It's on the same network
as cvsup2.za.freebsd.org

If you'd like to give me www2.za.freebsd.org that would be great.
Please let me know what you've listed the site as in the mirror list.
