  Add CFLAGS="${CFLAGS}" to MAKE_FLAGS.  This will probably pull in "-O2
  -m486 -pipe" from /etc/make.conf.  This is a giant step for humankind, at
  least the part of humankind that wants to preview their postscript
  documents on screen.
