The last time I bought a new printer I had to right away as the old one kicked the bucket and I had work related printed material I just had to print out, so I picked up a cheap Lexmark from Canadian Tire which was on sale. To this day the Lexmark is working great! Except since purchasing it, I haven't been able to print directly to it from my FreeBSD machine because it just isn't (or at least wasn't) supported. Today I see Staples has a HP OfficeJet OJ5610 Colour 4-in-1 printer on at a reasonable price. It's all I need. Since I am soon due to replace both of my print cartridges in the Lexmark, I figure I could just as easily buy the HP printer instead, but I thought I would run this model by the list members to see if it's compatible with FreeBSD, likely through CUPS? Anybody know off hand? Thanks! -gerry
