Hello,

I have an Adaptec 1542 SCSI adapter at the moment, but I want to buy a
PCI adapter. The 2940 seems a logical choice, but I think it's rather
expensive.

Is it really worth it, or do cheaper ones exist with equivalent
quality/performance under FreeBSD?
