The script does indeed seem to be ignored though - newsyslog should be printing "Run command: ..." in between the "Signal all ..." and "Pause 10 ..." messages. I don't see anything in the code that could be causing this though. Would you be able to send the output of # newsyslog -Fnv -f /root/test.conf and a copy of test.conf? (Or a trimmed-down version that still reproduces the problem.) Thanks! -Mark
