Has > anyone tried out both? I have tried both. Use Oracle for Linux. As for the status: Oracle 8i does not run yet, but any other Oracle 8 for Linux should be fine. As for Oracle for SCO; the last version I tried was 7, but I needed a SCO machine to do the actual installation...
