When I want to create a new MBR scheme it always complains: -> gpart create -s mbr da0 gpart: scheme 'mbr': Invalid argument The GPT scheme works fine: -> gpart create -s gpt da0 da0 created -> gpart show da0 => 34 8027645 da0 GPT (3.8G) 34 8027645 - free - (3.8G) -> gpart destroy da0 da0 destroyed The kernel driver seems to be loaded: -> kldstat -v | grep mbr 278 g_mbr 277 g_mbrext Does gpart in 7.2 not support MBR partitioning? Cheers, Anselm
