The following is from the e-mail he sent me: I'm attempting to mount my cd-rom. I've used mount -t cd9660 /dev/wcd0c /cdrom and mount_cd9660 /dev/wcd0c /cdrom and mount -6 iso9660 /dev/wcd0c /cdrom and other forms of each of these. I get the following message: acd0: read_toc failed mount_cd9660: Input/output error What am I doing wrong? ... He found a "problem/kernel" page, but it refers to a 3.0-SNAP, and he also said that his motherboard was mentioned. He said that this bug report was the only thing he could find. I also told him to subscribe to the mailing list too. :) (btw, the kernel report is attached for reference, he is running 3.1-Release) TIA! -Todd & David ------=_NextPart_000_01D9_01BE9642.BD4A3E80 Content-Type: text/html; name="ProblemReportkern-9282.htm" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="ProblemReportkern-9282.htm" Problem Report kern/9282

not working
Date: Sun, 14 Feb 1999 20:13:37 -0800 (PST)

Observed on ASUS P5A (also Ali) too. May be due to dual IRQ's
for primary/2ndary IDE channels. Reported not a problem w/ fbsd 2.x.
