Have you checked out the Apache section of the handbook? There's a section on setting up Apache and PHP: http://www.FreeBSD.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/network-apache.html Also, unless you're needing to stick with older version for compatibility reasons newer version of Apache and PHP available in your ports tree.
