I'm a newbie of FreeBSD. I installed version 3.2 on my PC.
It's PentiumIII with Asus PBF3 motherboard and Maxtor 91531U3 HD.
I installed a windows98 on it before.

When I installed FreeBSD, I noticed(I read the FAQ first)
the CHS values is different from those in BIOS, so I use
"G" to modify them(if I dont modify them, it doesn't work either), then do
all things followed the instructions.
No error messages appeared. But when I reboot( I installed
BOOT Manager), it displayed F1: DOS, F3: FreeBSD. I choose F3,
it beeps, nothing happend.

I don't know what's wrong, I tried several times but failed again.
I'm a windows programmer and farmiliar with PC hardware. Pls teach
me how to resolve this problem and thank u very much. Need I replace
a harddisk?
