This was not done, and the original comitter asked me to send this PR. From that PR: Several people have asked me to keep the old version around for a while, and I think that is wise. Hence, keep postgresql-7.1 "branch" as a port of its own in postgresql71. Now, postgresql-7.2 has been committed, but I guess it is pretty trivial to get hold of a cvs tree that keeps a pristine 4.5-RELEASE ports tree cvs repository? The copy would be postgresql7 -> postgresql71.
