Hello.
I have to install a FreeBSD system on a PCI Pentium/133, 32 Mbyte RAM,
HD 1.2 Gbyte and a Hitachi CD-ROM ATAPI.
The motherboard is GMB-P55IPS a 4-layer, 2/3 baby AT size
hig-performance mainboard.
It includes Intel 82430HX system chipset, Winbond W83877 Super I/O
controller.
The release that I have installad is 2.1.5-stable (from mirror
www.se.FreeBSD.org at August 6 1996).
The problem is the initial check of PCI equipement. About 50% times
at boot, and I think always when I run
shutdown -r now
the system begin the PCI hardware probe and then hang. The screen black
and I must turn off it.
When start and hang the initial hardware test show:
