Where is the "handbook" you're trying to access?  

http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/handbook.html (or just go to
http://www.freebsd.org and follow the link to documentation and then
to the handbook....

Or go to ftp.cdrom.com, cd to FreeBSD/docs, and download the handbook
in postscript or ascii or html.  

The entire handbook is quite long, but you might want to print the
chapters you're especially interested in right now (e.g., stuff on
installation)....printing the .html files (get the source) from IE
should look pretty good.  

I don't know anything about authenticode.
