I have the following in my latex preamble:
\usepackage{time}
\newcommand\myTime{\now}
\lfoot{\today}
\rfoot{\myTime}
The date prints properly on the lower left, but the time reports as
"-420:14 A.M.". The :14 was correct, but the rest is 413 hours early :)
I have the time.sty package installed in my home directory.
