mirror [/pub/freebsd]m> df -k .
Filesystem            kbytes    used   avail capacity  Mounted on
/dev/dsk/c5t6d0s2    17413250 15838738 1400380    92%    /ftp/disks/.56


that's a partial mirror.  if you get the file "dir.sizes" you'll
see the amount of disk needed for a full mirror (about 30G now?)

in terms of bandwidth - `a lot' would be good.  for example, it
takes me around 5 days to update i386 packages - and they
update them every week..
