(Not something I'm likely to do.) > could be the last resort to save something=E2=80=A6 > but if linux had patched inside u-boot, as you did it for Bob, I would = see other problems coming=E2=80=A6 >=20 Of all things, I actually use my patched FreeBSD U-Boot (usb_pgood_delay and such) on Fedora in order for Fedora to manage to boot from my media: Fedora's U-Boot build has the same problem with the media type that FreeBSD's u-boot does. So I only deal with building one U-Boot in one environment. For my context, so far, things have been compatible enough to get by with this.
