I used it a lot for custom keybindings in IceWM. > > Any clue, anyone? by your question, it sounds as though you didn't set your custom key bindings in XFree directly, rather you did it via IceWM. this is just a guess, but you might want to reinstall Ice so that it compiles with the X.org libraries.
