I copied an entry for the card, and the card seems to work. My entry is: card "SMC" "/8041TX-10/100-PC-Card-V2.*/" config auto "ed" ? ether 0xff0 # 00:c0:f0 insert /etc/pccard_ether $device start remove /etc/pccard_ether $device stop I saw in the list archives that in an earlier release of FreeBSD, someone tried to do this with mixed results. I've had no problems using this NIC with this entry. Will this NIC be added to stable or maybe the next release?
