I'm not aware of any part of the install procedure where you are able to make floppies. Had FreeBSD booted when the crash occured? If not can i get a cd upgrade for free. If not no biggie. "A" cd? Must be from cheapbytes. The latest release is 3.2. Upgrades aren't free, but are reasonably priced. Plus you'll be helping the project. As an alternative, you can pull 3.2 off ftp.cdrom.com.
