Hi,

could you please try and run this:

# /usr/local/libexec/mysqld -u root

you probably want to add an ampersand '&' at the end of the line.

and let me/us know if it works. I am sure this is not the appropriate way t=
o
do this, but maybe it will get you started.
I am also curious for the response from experienced people for the above
command which i think will work.
All these provided that you have the mysql server installed..
