Nope...I tried it and 0.94.12 is greater that 0.94.12.r5 -t Test a pair of version number strings and exit. The output con- sists of one of the single characters = (equal), < (right-hand number greater), or > (left-hand number greater) on standard out- put. This flag is mostly useful for scripts or for testing. < means right is greater than left.
